BOSGAME P5 Review

The BOSGAME P5 delivers modest performance with its Ryzen 5 6600H (Zen 3+) and Radeon 660M iGPU, but its $389 price is hard to justify when competitors offer better value. The 16GB RAM and 512GB PCIe 3.0 SSD configuration feels inadequate compared to the GMKtec M6 ($369 with 32GB RAM + 1TB SSD) or Beelink EQR6 ($279 with identical specs). While the 6600H's Zen 3+ architecture provides decent productivity performance, the single M.2 slot and lack of storage expansion options limit its appeal.

Build quality is average with a plastic chassis, and the Realtek WiFi 6E module delivers inconsistent performance. The cooling system (35dB under load) prevents throttling but runs louder than competing models. Port selection is adequate but lacks Thunderbolt or USB4, eliminating eGPU possibilities. At 0.92L, it's compact but omits a VESA mount included with many rivals.

Unless found significantly below $300, the P5 struggles to compete against better-equipped alternatives. The Radeon 660M handles light gaming (e.g., CS:GO at 1080p Medium ~70fps), but the overall package fails to justify its premium over nearly identical yet cheaper options.
